Unlike binoculars that rely upon visible light or night vision devices that are affected by bright light exposure, this scope’s uncooled, amorphous silicone microbolometer detects infrared thermal signatures from up to 500 yards away. Designed for nighttime use or daytime use in inclement weather, it can “see through” rain, snow, fog, smoke, and vegetation, operating between -4° F and 122° F and up to 90 per cent humidity. With 2X optical zoom, ±5 diopter eyepiece adjustment, and a 316-foot field of view at 500 yards, the scope acquires subjects quickly and easily for observation and displays them on a .31″ OLED in high contrast black and white at 640 x 480 pixel resolution. Rugged rubberised glass-filled nylon composite body. Includes two 1/4″ tripod mounts and an RCA cable for connecting to a TV for live video display.
