Parineeti was born on October 22, 1988. She is Priyanka Chopra’s cousin. Talking about her cousin with IANS, Parineeti said: “In our family, people have no idea of what scripts to choose. So the only person from whom I can take an idea is Priyanka. I take all suggestions from her.” Parineeti has done triple honours in Business, Finance and Economics at Manchester Business School. She wanted to be a banker. When
recession struck, England-based Parineeti left for India. She joined Yash Raj Films as a Marketing & PR consultant. Parineeti Chopra played a spunky Delhi girl in her first Bollywood film ‘Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl’.

She joined Yash Raj Films as a Marketing & PR consultant. Parineeti Chopra played a spunky Delhi girl in her first  Bollywood film ‘Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl’.

“I used to hate actors and acting. I thought it was a brainless job. But then I realised it’s not, and not everyone can do what actors can do in front of the camera. That is why they are very sought after. So I wanted to try it,” Parineeti told Hindustan Times.
Parineeti won several Best Debut awards for her performance in ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’.
“Whenever somebody becomes an actor the first thing they start thinking about is awards. I had absolutely no expectations from anything,” said Parineeti. After her debut film, Parineeti Chopra went on to star in ‘Ishaqzaade’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. She won a National Film Award – Special Mention for her performance in ‘Ishaqzaade’. “After winning so many debut awards, I never thought I would win for ‘Ishaqzaade’, but when I did, it was the biggest one in the country! That too for my first lead role,” Parineeti said in a statement. Parineeti Chopra, who played a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl in her film ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’, told IANS: “I’d say ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ is a celebration of love and food, love for food, love over food, and what have you.”
She can now be seen in Yash Raj Film’s romantic actioner ‘Kill Dil’. Talking to gulfnews.com about ‘Kill Dil’, Parineeti said: “I did the film for many reasons, one of them being that I will be able to do something different with the way I look. Whether it’s my clothes, hair, make-up or just external body language, the film is going to present me in a different way.
” Parineeti Chopra has been linked to filmmaker Maneesh Sharma and actor Arjun Kapoor.
