Akshay Oberoi, who plays the lead role in ‘Pizza 3D’, says that the movie is not just about horror, it also has thrill elements in it. “You will get a lot of thrill in the film. Directed by Akshay Akkineni, ‘Pizza’ also features Parvathy Omanakuttan, Dipannita Sharma and Arunoday Singh. It hit theatres on 18 July. He feels the audience, who prefer different content over run-of-the-mill
Bollywood offerings, would enjoy it.
“Pizza is a very different type of film. Those who like to watch films which are different from the normal Bollywood fare, it is for them. It is a thriller-horror film,” Akshay said. “I play a pizza delivery boy and Parvathy plays my wife. I go to a house to deliver a pizza and then unusual incidents trap me,” he added.

South film industry is more punctual than Bollywood: Parvathy Omanakuttan
‘Pizza 3D’ actress Parvathy Omanakuttan feels the Southern film industry is more organised and punctual than Bollywood. The 27-year-old former Miss India won the coveted pageant in 2008 and since then she acted in Tamil and Malayali films. Her first Bollywood film was ‘United Six’ in 2011. “Though the crew on ‘Pizza 3D’ was from South so I did not feel much difference that way but both the industries are different in respect to the process of filmmaking.rocess of filmmaking.
“In the south, they are very punctual and they are very sure when to start the film and when to end. In Bollywood it’s more laid back and easy. If I do back-to-back films in Bollywood and then I go to the south, I will have to follow a time table. But if a person comes here after working in the south, it will be easy for him as he will be more organised,” she told PTI. ‘Pizza 3D’, which released recently, is a Hindi remake of the 2012 Tamil film of the same name, ‘Pizza’.
