Whether we should comment or not on Parliamentarians, we should decide on this now. We have been continuously watching the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, and especially of the current Lok Sabha. MPs, be they linked to the BJP, to the Congress or other parties — they are not seen raising issues and there seems to be truth in talk that if newspapers or television don’t give news, then MPs would not have increased the range of their information.
There was a time when in Parliament when MPs like Madhu Limaye, George Fernandes, Nath Pai, Bhupesh Gupta, Jyotirmoy Basu and Raj Narain used to be there. Amongst the young MPs in those days, it is also necessary to mention Kishan Patnaik, because Kishan Patnaik always went to Parliament fully prepared. Those days discussions and debates used to take place in Parliament on those topics which have a relation with the problems of the country, with the pain of the country and with the development of the country. The level of the Government and Opposition debates used to be so high that MPs used to add something or the other to each others information and the country also got to know that this is our real situation. Because, all these names that I took, they used to do investigative analysis of the condition and situation of the country.
Those days, rather than focusing on which capitalist had a relationship with their own party, MPs gave more attention to and focused more on what will be of benefit for the country. When Chandrashekharji had started a campaign in the Rajya Sabha against Birla, it used to be believed that Birlaji had the support of 80 MPs of Parliament, to whom he used to give some or the other gift every month. The Congress party too has had good relations with the Birla family, but in spite of this Chandrashekharji raised the issue against Birla. MPs engaging in studies was thought to be meritorious those days. MPs were often found reading books or getting information in the Parliament library.
Figures related to every citizen of our country are not only going to companies controlling the market, so that they can control us economically, but these figures are also going to those of our enemies who make plans of ‘acting’ over here. Not only this, these figures are also going to those who want to start Hindu-Muslim riots in the country. And now they will not need to do some new research by coming to India. Where they are, sitting from there itself they can decide which part to make their target… Is there not even one such MP in this Parliament who can comprehend this danger?
And there is today’s time, when some MPs can be seen reading magazines in the Parliament library, but books giving information on serious topics largely remain at rest in the cupboards. The situation has become such that a lot of MPs don’t even remember the National Anthem and they do not have time to remember issues related to the public. An outright example of this is watching Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha TV after zero hour. MPs don’t remain present in Parliament. What is happening in Parliament, they don’t participate in that. Neither do they have their own opinion, nor any study of their own. This is that Parliament which takes a decision on the lives of 125 crore people, because Parliament is the highest court of the Government of this country.
In this situation, when the Government is going against the decision of the Supreme Court and Parliament is silent, only one meaning emerges — that MPs don’t even know of the worries of the Supreme Court, don’t even know of the observations of the Supreme Court. And leave alone the way in which work has been done in the country for the last 5 and a half years with Government support for foreign countries — knowing about that is a far-off thing — why don’t the MPs know that the work of passing on the secrets of all key people of our country, information about them, their weaknesses, virtually everything to foreign secret agencies was done by the previous Government and is being done by this Government as well? Why don’t MPs know that every bit of information related to our country is reaching our neighbouring countries and that the Government has the biggest hand in it. Our MPs don’t take any lessons from the inexcusable mistakes that happened in past history. They don’t even know how the lives of thousands of people have been lost because of such deeds.
From the last three years, we have been warning the Government and the country about the Aadhar card. The Congress Government did not understand any of the meaning of this warning and neither is the Narendra Modi Government understanding it now. The secrets of our country first of all reach China through an information system and in today’s date China is not our friendly country. Complete servers of our information system are there in China. In our country, our entire infrastructure of the information system has been made in China and if in every one of them any tiny spying software is uploaded, then the discussion that is taking place between the Prime Minister and the Defense Chiefs, that discussion too reaches China through the computer. On the other side, through the Aadhar card, information about every citizen of this country is reaching America everyday and sitting in America units controlling India politically are doing its analysis. It is unfortunate that all this is going on with the information of the Indian Government.
Is there not even one such MP in this Parliament who can comprehend this danger? The Supreme Court can keep its eye on this situation only then when this issue is brought before it. This issue is before the Supreme Court, that is why it has made the first observation against this Aadhar card and said it should not be made compulsory. But the Indian Government is making the Aadhar card compulsory everywhere. Is the present Government through administrative orders ‘committing’ contempt of the orders of the Supreme Court? Now, the Supreme Court has to decide on this. But yes, there are such people sitting in the Government, who are giving information to foreign countries, against the interest of our country, and that information must surely be getting shared with countries like Pakistan and China, because nowadays companies sell figures. And figures related to every citizen of our country are not only going to companies controlling the market, so that they can control us economically, but these figures are also going to those of our enemies who make plans of ‘acting’ over here. Not only this, these figures are also going to those who want to start Hindu-Muslim riots in the country. And now they will not need to do some new research by coming to India. Where they are, sitting from there itself they can decide which part to make their target.
Great Members of Parliament of the great Parliament of India, history will lay this blame on you that you not only made this country a slave economically, but by giving information on every citizen of this country to finance companies in foreign countries and our neighboring countries, with whom our relations are not clear, you have in a way done treasonous work. I again request MPs in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to understand the important strategic implications of this and raise this question in Parliament that after all who are the powers behind keeping all these things going, and talk about stopping them immediately. If you don’t stop them, then a day will come when no one will hesitate to say that our Parliament is a traitor.
