LG Electronics has launched the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)-powered Optimus L9 smart phone in India. Like its siblings Optimus L5 and L7, this device also features design cues like metallic accents and Floating Mass Technology for slimmer look.
Optimus L9 features a 4.7-inch IPS display and runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device has onboard memory of 4GB and supports micro SD cards having capacities up to 32GB. Connectivity features of the tablet include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and micro USB 2.0. Powered by a 2,150 mAh battery, LG Optimus L9 has a 5MP snapper with LED flash in the rear and a VGA camera in the front.
The latest smart phone from LG is loaded with apps like Quick Translator, Quick Memo and Cheese Shutter. A unique feature of the smart phone is that the keypad adjusts the key formation based on whether the user is typing with one hand or two.
LG is offering the Optimus L9 at Rs. 23000 in the Indian market.
