HTC has announced that it will add features in its One and Desire series smartphones for supporting of Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Marathi. The company is developing software which will help users to read and write in these languages while texting and surfing the Internet or even exploring the application on Google. HTC also announced that the users will be able to read in Bengali on few of the applications such as Google Play Store. But it is unclear if the company is developing the applications themselves or taking the help of third party developers. Initially, the language update will be available for Desire C and Desire V. Later, in August 2012 the application will be available for One S, One X and One V. This is not the first time HTC is introducing indigenous language for its phones because earlier the company came out with Hindi and Tamil language support for its Explorer series.
