Fujifilm has announced the compact XF1 camera in India. The X-series currently features award-winning cameras such as the Fujifilm X-Pro1, Fujifilm X100, Fujifilm X10, Fujifilm X-S1 and the recently launched Fujifilm X-E1. The Fujifilm XF1 boasts of a compact body with synthetic leather covering that resembles genuine leather and resilient aluminum body parts. In addition to its distinctive looks, the XF1 is lightweight, comes packed with smart features and is available in three colours – red, black and brown. In portable mode, the lens pf (precision focus) XF1 retracts fully inside the body, minimising the camera’s size. On the standby mode, the lens partially extends but remains closed and with one touch of the ring, the shooting mode gets activated. The camera is armed with the newly-developed f/1.8 Fujinon lens that features manual 4x optical zoom (25-100mm). It includes a 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor and an EXR processor, which are also used in the Fujifilm X10. The camera also packs a host of features that allow users to take great quality pictures even in low light conditions. Its market price is Rs. 33,989.
