'Desire' in a New Avatar


HTC has officially launched Desire C smartphone in India which runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system (OS) with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The HTC Desire C features HTC Sense 4.0, Beats Audio Technology and a powerful battery. HTC had announced the launch of Desire C in April 2012. The device has a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. The Desire C is powered by a Snapdragon S1 600 MHz processor, with 512 MB RAM and Sense 4.0 user interface on top of Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The device is ideal for audio enthusiasts. Rest of the specifications of HTC Desire C include a 5 MP F/2.8 rear camera, 4 GB built-in storage expandable up to 32 GB, 2 years of free Dropbox 25 GB cloud storage and a 1230 mAh battery. For connectivity, the HTC Desire C supports 3G with 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n with hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and USB 2.0. The device is available in two colors − black and red. HTC of late has launched quite a few smartphones in the country including the HTC One S, One V and One X. Its first dual-SIM Android smartphone Desire V is available at Rs. 21,999. n
